Invisalign Treatment
-
Do you want to see more of your teeth when you smile?
Do you just want your bottom teeth to look straighter and be easier to clean?
Did you have braces when you were a teenager but the teeth have moved again?
Anything at all, let our Maison Dental team know, so that we can create a bespoke plan for you.
-
A digital scanner is used to recreate your teeth in 3D. You’ll be able to see your teeth in all different angles!
A simulator program is used to quickly show you what outcome may be possible with aligner treatment.
-
When you are happy to proceed with Invisalign treatment X-rays and Photos are taken to be used as part of your treatment plan.
A custom treatment plan with 3D modeling will be made and shared with you to show you the predicted outcome. At this stage you will be advised on how long you will need to wear the aligners, where the attachments are located, if any tooth reduction will be needed to achieve the predicted outcome.
Sometimes another set of aligners may be required (called the refinement stage) to tweak any teeth which did not completely follow the initial predicted outcome.
We can also consider other treatments which may complement your Invisalign treatment such as Zoom teeth whitening, composite veneers, or porcelain veneers to achieve the smile that you’ve always imagined.
-
Receive your custom made clear aligners.
Specifically shaped and sized tooth-coloured buttons may be placed on your teeth using filling material to help the aligners move your teeth.
Reduction between the teeth may also be required if more space is needed.
Wear your aligners for 22 hours a day. Only take them off when you’re eating and drinking hot drinks.
Change to your next aligner when advised (weekly-fortnightly).
See Maison Dental Hunters Hill regularly to track the progress of your Invisalign treatment.
-
When your Invisalign treatment is completed and you are happy with the result, Zoom teeth whitening or other treatments that were planned can proceed.
Retainers will be made to help prevent the teeth moving back to their original positions. We don’t want all that hard work reversing itself!
