At Maison Dental we are proud to be part of the Hunters Hill community providing the highest quality sustainable dentistry. We were drawn to the strong community feel of the local area and knew it was the perfect place to establish our independently owned practice in the historic Cuneo building.
OUR STORY
Having worked in dental practices internationally, we knew the time had come to create something a little different. Maison Dental was created to provide an environment in which our patients are confident that they will receive the attentive care that they deserve, whilst enjoying all the comforts found at home. Sustainable and patient-focused holistic care is at the heart of what we do at Maison Dental.
Sustainable
At Maison Dental, we are committed to practising eco-friendly dentistry. We make a conscious effort to help protect the planet by ensuring treatments are long-lasting so as to avoid the unnecessary use of water, energy and dental materials. Our team embraces energy saving technology to help reduce energy and paper waste. We also seek every opportunity to use biodegradable/compostable materials which can be safely returned to the natural environment.
Holistic
It is often easy to forget that our mouth and teeth are so interconnected with the rest of the body – a healthy mouth helps to truly maintain our overall health and wellbeing. Oral conditions such as gum disease, tooth decay, grinding and clenching are often associated with other health concerns such as heart disease, diabetes, respiratory issues, sleep apnoea, and other chronic inflammatory conditions. At Maison Dental we perform comprehensive examinations to ensure we take a holistic health approach to your dental care.
Patient-Focused
We aspire to make a visit to the dentist as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Choose your favourite TV show or music to play through our noise cancelling headphones, or take a virtual tour through your favourite art gallery during your dental treatment. If you need a helping hand taking the edge off your treatment, nitrous oxide (happy gas) is available. We spend the time getting to know you, your preferences, and the dental health journey you wish to take. Your personal input will always be central to our dental care plans.

Dr Glaphyra Lim
Glaphyra graduated as a dentist from the University of Melbourne in 2007. She gained invaluable experience whilst working in the heart of Orchard Road Singapore. However, Sydney’s North Shore has always been home for Glaphyra and in 2011 she returned to be closer to family and to once again enjoy the Aussie lifestyle.
Glaphyra established her own practice in the vibrant, family-oriented community of Hunters Hill in 2021. Her passion for dentistry stems from the opportunity to combine her artistic nature with her scientific knowledge to help improve her patient’s overall oral health and well-being. Glaphyra has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry including Invisalign treatment as well as children’s and sleep dentistry.
Glaphyra enjoys her free time practising yoga and Pilates, dabbling in painting and pottery, discovering good food and travelling. She continues to brush up on her French which she learned whilst living in Paris and her Korean which she enjoys speaking with her parents.
