  • Discuss what your expectations are for that missing tooth. Different treatment options will be explained and discussed thoroughly. Diagnostic records such as a cone-beam CT scan, 3D digital impression of your teeth, photos will be taken.

  • Careful precise planning is required before a dental implant is placed. Maison Dental is equipped with the latest technology and software to be able to better prepare for your treatment. You may have the day procedure performed under local anaesthetic, happy gas or if you prefer, twilight sedation.

  • Once the dental implant has healed and integrated into your jaw bone, then we are able to design and place your implant crown. The crown is screw-retained meaning that the crown is easily retrievable if it needs to be replaced in the future. The risk of gum disease compared to a cement-retained crown is also significantly less.

    Maintenance is key for long term success. Dental implants cannot get decay but gum disease and bone loss are common complications. Regular maintenance appointments are highly recommended.
